How PsíKruh works
No magic, just an honest flow: profile, plan, buddy, guided meetup, evaluation. Then again, a little further. Here it is, step by step.
1. Dog profile and temperament quiz
You start with your dog's profile and a temperament quiz, about ten questions on concrete real-life situations. What does your dog do when meeting another dog? How do they react when the doorbell rings? No theory, just situations you know from your walks.
And if the offered answers don't fit, every question lets you answer in your own words. The app builds your answer into the dog's profile, which the plan — created together with a professional in the field — then works from. You know your dog best; the quiz just translates that into training terms. Finally you pick the areas you want to work on: socialization, leash manners, recall, calmness, play skills or confidence.
2. A socialization plan in stages
Based on your dog's age you get a pre-created socialization plan, a puppy version or an adult version. The plan is structured into stages you unlock as you go; each one holds short exercises for home and walks.
We create the whole plan together with a professional in the field, and we train with positive reinforcement only. No punishment, no experiments. AI-powered plan personalization is in the works; soon the plan will start adapting to your own dog.
3. Finding a dog buddy
You search for your dog's buddy by criteria: size, age, energy and distance. Matching then considers both dogs' profiles, distance, and whether both owners have a similar socialization plan. Two dogs both practising calm leash passing help each other.
Safety filters always apply: no meetup gets arranged without a vaccination self-declaration, and restrictions such as “no small dogs” cannot be bypassed. And your privacy is protected from the start. We only store an approximate home area, a roughly 500-meter grid, and other users only see a distance band like “about 2 km”, never your exact location.
4. Match proposal and chat
When you like a candidate, you send a meetup proposal. It holds for 72 hours. The other owner confirms it or lets it expire, no endless waiting.
The details, where, when and for how long, you arrange in the in-app chat. Chat and meetups are part of the free core that stays free.
5. A meetup guided by the plan
Every one-on-one meetup follows the same plan, shared with both owners: it starts with a parallel walk at a safe distance and moves closer step by step. No “let them loose and see”.
The plan describes the stress signals to watch for and clear criteria for ending the meetup calmly. Ending early isn't failure, it's exactly the information the training needs. No pressure, no awkwardness; you both know what's happening.
6. Evaluation and the next stage
After the meetup, both owners fill in a short evaluation: how the meetup went, how the other dog behaved, how stressed your own dog was, and whether you'd repeat it.
The evaluations feed into training progress and unlock the next stage of the plan. Then you go again, a little further.
