PsíKruh

Calmer walks for you and your dog

Dealing with barking at other dogs, pulling, or fear of other dogs? Have you tried socializing your buddy at the dog park with no results? PsíKruh offers you a way to socialize your dog with a clear plan — and above all, safely.

Situations you might recognize yourself in

Walks at six in the morning so you don't run into anyone. The looks from strangers when your dog speaks up. Group classes are hard on many dogs, and generic advice from the internet doesn't help. What you want most is to know the next step is safe and actually gets you somewhere. That's why PsíKruh exists.

“Generic reactivity advice doesn't fit my dog.”

A plan built for your dog

A short temperament quiz helps build a training plan tailored to your dog. You know what to train today and what comes next. No guessing, no contradictory advice.

“I never know if the other dog will be fine, or not.”

A carefully chosen buddy, no unpleasant surprises

You pick a buddy by size, age and energy, and matching weighs both dogs' temperaments. Nothing risky gets through: no meetup without confirmed vaccination, and restrictions like “no small dogs” always hold.

“And what if the meetup goes wrong?”

A plan that helps you handle the meetup without stress

The plan walks you through the meetup step by step, from a parallel walk to the approach. And above all, it says clearly when to call it a day. Ending early isn't failure.

Plans created with a professional in the field

Safety first

Socializing dogs can quickly turn into an unpleasant experience, and rebuilding trust can take a long time. So a few rules here don't bend.

Plans created with a professional in the field

We want every plan available in the app to rest on a solid foundation. That's why we'll create them together with an experienced dog trainer.

Your buddy's safety comes first

No meetup happens without a vaccination declaration. And restrictions such as “no small dogs” never get overridden by matching.

Your address stays hidden

We store only a rough home area, a grid of about 500 meters. Others see a distance band like “about 2 km”, never your exact spot.

Meetups under control

Each plan lists stress signals and clear cues for ending the meetup. Ending at the right moment helps your dog walk away with a positive experience.

Four steps toward calmer walks

  1. 01

    Introduce your dog

Fill in a profile and a temperament quiz, about ten real-life scenarios. Where the answers don't fit, use your own words and the app builds them into the profile. Then pick what to work on: socialization, leash manners, recall, calm, play or confidence.

  2. 02

    Train stage by stage

Based on your dog's age you get a plan for a puppy or an adult. You unlock the stages one by one. Positive reinforcement only, and plans created with a professional in the field.

  3. 03

    Find a buddy

Search by size, age, energy and distance. A proposal holds for 72 hours, and you sort out the details in the in-app chat. Chat is part of the free core that stays free.

  4. 04

    Meet and rate

The meetup follows the plan: parallel walk, approach, stress signals, a clear brake. Both owners then fill in a rating. It feeds progress and unlocks the next stage.

Questions we get

When and where do I download the app?

PsíKruh is coming to iPhone and we're finishing the launch. Leave your email on the waitlist and we'll let you know the moment the app is available. The app will be free and fully in Czech and English.

How much does it cost?

The core — plan, matching, meetups and chat — is free and stays free. Over time we'll only charge for extended training features.

How does the temperament quiz work?

It's about ten questions on concrete situations: what your dog does when meeting another dog, how they react to the doorbell, and so on. Don't want to answer the prepared questions? No problem — just describe your buddy in your own words, and AI reads your answer into the dog's profile. You know your dog best, the quiz just puts it into training terms.

Is the training plan AI-generated?

No. The plan is a pre-created socialization program that we build together with a professional in the field. Based on your dog's age you get the puppy or the adult version, structured into stages with exercises. AI-powered plan personalization is in the works.

How do you pick dog buddies?

You search by criteria: size, age, energy and distance. Matching then considers both dogs' profiles, distance, and whether both owners have a similar socialization plan. Safety filters always apply: no meetup without a vaccination self-declaration, and restrictions such as “no small dogs” cannot be bypassed.

Does the app show my exact location to others?

We store only a rough home area, a 500-meter grid, not your address. Other users see a distance band like “about 2 km”, never your exact location.

My dog is reactive around other dogs — barking, growling, or just scared. Is this for them?

That's exactly who we're building this for. A reactive, fearful or unsure dog needs predictable meetups with a carefully chosen match, not uncontrolled chaos. The plan starts with a parallel walk at a safe distance and moves at your dog's pace, not the other dog's. For serious aggression we'll suggest working with a trainer one-on-one first.

What if a meetup doesn't go well?

Every meetup follows the plan, with stress signals and clear criteria for ending calmly. A short or early-ended meetup isn't a failure. Both owners evaluate it and the evaluation feeds back into training progress. No pressure to perform.

Does it work outside Prague?

The app works everywhere, you set your own search radius. The more dog people join around you, the easier it gets to find a buddy too.

Will there be an Android app?

We're starting on iPhone. Android is planned once we've proven that the whole flow of plan, meetups and evaluations works as it should.
